　　Introduce

　　Demonstrate 鈥渃loud鈥� and 鈥渟ky鈥� with your poster, or by pointing out the window of your classroom.

　　Draw quick pictures of clouds on the blackboard.

　　Make the clouds look like something. Say phrases such as:

　　Use a puppet to introduce the word 鈥渓ie鈥� For example, draw quick pictures of a bed and some grass on the blackboard. Make the puppet 鈥渓ie鈥� on these as you say phrases for it such as:

　　I am tired. I want to sleep.

　　Where can I sleep?

　　Here鈥檚 a bed. I am going to lie on the bed.

　　Now I am lying on the bed.

　　I don鈥檛 want to sleep here!

　　Here鈥檚 some grass.

　　Now I am lying on the grass.

　　Now I can see the sky!

　　Practice

　　Divide the class into small groups. Ask each group to make up a dialogue about lying on the grass and looking at clouds in the sky. Please read about making up dialogues in 鈥淭eaching Techniques鈥�

　　Play 鈥淕o Fish鈥� or 鈥淢emory Card鈥� with the students鈥� flashcards for the following words: cloud, sky, flowers, leaves, grass, snow, ice, rain, sun and wind.
