　　Ø 能听懂、会说表示地点的名词：post office, bank, hospital, railway station

　　Ø 能听懂、会说问路的句子：

　　How can I get to the bank？

　　Which is the way to the bank?

　　Ø 能听懂、会说指路的句子：

　　Go straight.

　　Turn left.

　　Turn right.

　　Sorry, I don’t know.

　　1. Learn to say. 学说英语

　　² 建议教师先复习已经学过的表示地点的单词。如：park, zoo, supermarket, library, classroom等，接着教新的单词post office, bank, hospital和railway station。当同学们都能流利地说出这些地点时，开始教问路的句型。

　　² 教词组turn left, turn right, go straight。为了让学生理解这几个路标的含义，教师可以把教材第43页的表演活动提前，让学生听指令，做向左转，向右转，一直往前走的动作。

　　² 学生打开课本看41-42页，教师开始教问路的三个句型, 教师可以根据学生的程度确定全教或教其中两种。

　　图1呈现第一种问路的句型：How can I get to the post office, please?

　　图2呈现第二种问路的句型：Which is the way to the hospital?

　　图3呈现第三种问路的句型：Where is the bank?

　　² 教学生几种为他人指路的表达法：

　　1) Go straight. It’s on the left. (图1)

　　2) Turn left at the next street.（图2）

　　3) Turn right at the next street.（图3）

　　4) Sorry, I don’t know.（图4）

　　² 英语中sir 和Mr.都表示“先生”， madam 和Mrs.都表示“夫人”， 它们在使用的方法不同。sir/madam源自法语，可用于称呼不熟悉的人，无需跟上姓氏；而Mr./ Mrs. 后必须跟上姓氏。如：

　　Can I help you, sir/madam?

　　Mr. Smith is a doctor. Mrs. Smith is a nurse.

　　² Excuse me, sir. 经常用于麻烦别人的场合，意思是“先生，劳驾……”，“先生，请问……？”

　　² How can I get to the post office, please? （请问，去邮局怎么走？）get to 是到达的意思，类似的表达法有：When do you usually get to school? (你通常在什么时候到达学校？) 但是在home,

　　² there等副词前面不加to，如：I got home at nine o’clock yesterday. (昨天我九点到家。) I got there by bus. (我乘公交车到达那里。)

　　² You can’t miss it. （你会找到的。）miss在本课的意思是“错过”。

　　² Thank you all the same. 这是问路时对方不知道该怎么走，问路者依然表示感谢的用语。

　　在做练习之前，问同学下面几个问题，目的是复习已经学过的表示地点的单词。

　　Where can you take a train?

　　Where can you send a New Year card?

　　Where can you see lions and tigers?

　　Where can you do shopping?

　　Where can you see a doctor?

　　Where can you borrow books?

　　只要求学生能根据图画说出问路和指路的话，不要求书写句子。
