Teaching Target: What鈥檚 the weather like in spring? It鈥檚 rainy in spring. Is it rainy in fall? No, it鈥檚 not.It鈥檚 windy.
What鈥檚 the weather like today? It鈥檚 sunny and hot.Sounds and words:/ l / snail,smell, pencil, tail, bell, hole.
Vocabulary: spring, summer, fall, winter, sunny, rainy, windy, cloudy.
Material: magazine pictures of the four seasons. Pictures Cards 25-32,
Teaching Procedure:
Step 1: Warming up: chant together--- Hot! Hot! So hot!
Step 2: Write snail and smell on the board and underline l.
Repeat after me. Snail.
T: Let鈥檚 practice this sound.
Have Ss look at the pictures on the page.
T: Let鈥檚 listen to the tape.
Play the tape and have Ss point to each word as the tape says it.
T: Let鈥檚 listen again and this time, repeat.
Have Ss repeat after the tape.
After enough practice, point to the pictures randomly and have Ss say the words.
Step 3: T: Now, close your book. Can you spell snail?
Ss:---
Have three Ss ask the whole class questions of the same structure.
If necessary, give Ss some help to make questions.
Prompt the class to spell the word.
Step4: have Ss look at the lyrics on the page.
T: Let鈥檚 listen to the tape and chant.
Play the tape and pause after each paragraph.
Have Ss repeat after the tape.
Continue with the other pictures on the page.
Step5:Homework.
教学后记:
1.通过创设情景,让学生在情景中学习,学生学习兴趣浓厚,课堂气氛活跃,学生学习积极性极高。
2.通过设计活动游戏活动,操练新学的单词和句型,能很好地调动学生的积极性,吸引学生的注意力,教学效果良好。
3以比赛的形式进行练习,培养了学生的合作精神,提高学生的竞争意识。
4个别学生对一些新单词的发音还有待加强,例如:rainy, winter.
