Teaching Procedure:

What鈥檚 the weather like today? It鈥檚 sunny and hot.
Step1: Greeting: sing the song 鈥渨hat do we need?鈥
Step2: Ask a student: 鈥淐an you swim?鈥 S: Yes. 鈥淥K, do you like swimming? 鈥 (S: yes.) 鈥淲hen can we swim?鈥 (Ss: summer) Can you say this word in English? 鈥淪ummer鈥 Repeat and spell.
鈥淒o you know snow?鈥 鈥淲hen can we see it?鈥 (Ss: winter) can you say this word in English? 鈥淲inter鈥 Repeat and spell.
Use the same way prompt 鈥渇all鈥, 鈥渟pring鈥.

Give Ss three minutes to read the new words and go around.

Listen to the tape and point to each word.

Play the tape and pause after each sentence, allowing Ss time to repeat.
