  教学目标:

  一、知识目标

  1、会说句型How did you come to鈥? 并会运用句型来询问某人去某地乘用了什么样的交通工具。

  2、能听懂、会说、会读taxi, subway, on foot, summer camp.

  二、能力目标

  能运用新知进行有关本课话题的简单口语交际,通过体验、讨论、合作等方式,发展综合语言技能。

  三、情感目标

  通过教学激发学生学习英语的兴趣,增强学生的参与意识,引导学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,并在成功中体会英语学习的乐趣。

  四、教学重、难点

  1、学习和掌握本课单词及词组短语。特别注意区分词组短语on foot 与by car/bus/鈥炩

  2、能熟练运用句型How did you come to鈥?及其答语I came by鈥.。

  五、教学准备

  多媒体课件。

  六、教学过程

  Step I: Warming up

  1、Greetings.

  2、Listen to a song.(On the bus)

  (设计意图:营造英语学习氛围,使学生进入学习情境中来。歌曲选择与交通工具有关的 On the bus,也为下一环节说出已学交通工具名称做好铺垫。)

  Step II: Presentation and drill

  1、Review the old words ,learn the new words. T:(播放多种交通工具声音)Please listen to the voice.What can you hear? Ss:Bus/Bike鈥炩 Then show the pictures and read the words. 以此引出新单词subway 、taxi。 T:(利用多媒体呈现 a subway)Look! Is this a train? Ss: Yes. T: Yes, but it鈥檚 under the ground ,we call it subway. Ss: Subway ,subway ,subway . Use the same method to teach and learn the word : a taxi. T:(利用多媒体呈现小学生步行的图片) Look! What is she doing? S: She is walking. T: Yes, she is walking. She is on foot.(边走边说) Look,I鈥檓 on foot.

  (设计意图:引出新单词一环节的设计主要因为 car 与 taxi,train 与 subway 外形相似有共同点,学生心理会产生亲切感,乐于接受也易于接受新单词。)

  2、Say a chant(操练出行方式) CAI: Foot,foot,on foot. Bus,bus,by bus. Car,car,by car. 鈥炩(学生根据老师出示的图片补充完成)

  (设计意图:这种说说唱唱地集中操练方式,不仅有趣学生喜欢,而且有利于后面句型的学习。)

  3、Show the picture,learn the new sentence. T: Boys and girls,do you know : How did I come to school this afternoon?(出示图片,播放汽笛声) S: Bus. T: Yes, I came by bus.(板书并带读)

  4、Drill the sentence. T: Now ,can you tell me "How did you come to school?"(板书带读,并引导学生回答) S: I came by 鈥炩/on foot. Then do pair work.

  (设计意图:以日常生活为切入点,有利于学生接受及更好的记忆,为A 部分学习打下基础,也培养了学生实际运用的意识。)

  5. Learn part A T:(Show the picture "summer camp")Look! They are in the summer camp. Ss: (Repeat) Summer camp. T:let鈥檚 see,who are they?(呈现Part A 中五个小孩的图片) T and Ss :Oh,they are Peter, Anne,Ling ling,Ming ming and Jane. T:Let鈥檚 listen to the tape and answer the question: How did they come to the summer camp?(根据课文回答问题并连线) T: How did Peter come to the summer camp? S1:He came by ship. 鈥 T:Open your books ,let鈥檚 listen and read the text.

  (设计意图:给予学生一定的学习任务,使他们产生强烈的学习动力,比起简单地跟读效果会更好。听音跟读则能让学生模仿正确的语音语 调,纠正自己的发音。)

  Step III: Practice

  1. Play a guessing game T:(CAI 呈现Anne 和长沙的图片及相关句型)Guess! How did Anne come to Changsha?(CAI 呈现转盘) S1: She came by bus. S2:鈥 T: (点击转盘)Let's turn.Are you right?

  (设计意图:小游戏实用性强,参与面广,能吸引学生兴趣,学生在说说玩玩中巩固了所学的句型。)

  2、Read ,fill in the blanks,then say the sentences. Show a passage( describe the vehicles with riddles),Ss read the passage, write down the correct answer in the blanks.Then try to say the sentence(Pter 乘用什么交通工具来到哪儿). (阅读材料:Hello , I'm Peter . Last year , I went to five cities in China . Do you know "How did I go there ?" Please read and guess . First , I went to Shen zhen . The vehicle has two big wings(翅膀) , and it's on the sky. Second, I went to Kun ming . The vehicle is very long . Third , I went to Bei jing . The vehicle has four wheels (车轮), it's bigger than car . Fourth , I went to Da lian . The vehicle has four wheels too , but it's not a taxi , it's also not a bus. At last , I went to Shang hai . The vehicle is big ,and it's on the sea .) Peter city Shen zhen Kun ming Bei jing Da lian Shang hai Vehicle (交通工具) T: Let's look at the short passage,it's interesting.For example,the vehicle has two big wings,and it's on the sky.Guess "What is it?"Please write your answer in the blanks. Check the answer and say the sentence. T: How did Peter come to Shen zhen? S: Peter came to Shen zhen by plane. 鈥炩 (这个阅读活动不仅有趣,而且能提高学生的阅读、书写、理解、表达等综合语言能力。) Step Ⅳ Consolidation Make an interview. CAI 呈现鈥溞〖钦咝卸澋娜挝 T: (讲清活动的规则,请3-5 名学生到前面来示范) Show the model: A(记者):Hello,nice to meet you . B、C、D(游客):Nice to meet you ,too . A(记者):Welcome to Zhang jiajie . B、C、D(游客):Oh,thank you . Zhang jiajie is very beautiful . A(记者):How did you come to Zhang jiajie ? B:I came by bus . C:I came by train . Ss:(模仿范例,根据提供的情境,分组进行采访练习)

  (设计意图:这是一个实际运用型的教学活动,主要为了考察学生对所学知识的灵活运用程度。)

  七、板书设计及作业设计

  Blackboard Design:

  Unit 12 I came by plane. How did you come to鈥︹? I came on foot . / by鈥︹

  (设计意图:黑板上板书本课的主要句型,简单明了,did 与 came 采用不同颜色突出,强调这是过去时。)

  Homework:

  1、听磁带,读课文A 部分并背诵。

  2、调查班上同学去过哪些地方,乘用什么样的交通工具到达,制作成一张表格,并写成通顺的句子,用于下节课汇报。

  (设计意图:使学生对课堂所学知识有一个系统的复习巩固及运用,培养了他们的听说读写能力。)
