¡¡¡¡Show them the list he is writing in picture 3. Demonstrate how to write ticks or crosses in the boxes in the list by reading the sentences in the speech bubbles in picture 1.

¡¡¡¡Tell the pupils to copy out the list on a piece of paper. Ask them to work in pairs to role-play the conversation. They change the mother’s words and write ticks or crosses according to what they have in their school.

¡¡¡¡Show Transparency. Read the sentence in the speech bubble in picture 1. Ask the pupils to repeat it after you.
