¡¡¡¡1. Show Transparency. Explain that the boy cannot walk. He is in bed.

¡¡¡¡2. Read the speech bubble for picture 1 and show the blank speech bubble. Point to the walls in the bottom half of the picture and prompt the pupils to say They’re pink.

¡¡¡¡3. The pupils work in groups of three to role-play the boy and his mother and father.

¡¡¡¡4. Choose some groups to come to the front of the classroom to role-play.

¡¡¡¡Read aloud the speech bubbles or ask the pupils to read them silently. The pupils put a tick in the box if the information given is correct or a cross if it is not.

¡¡¡¡Use Transparency to check the pupils’ answers.

¡¡¡¡The pupils work in pairs. They take turns to make correct statements for those which are incorrect, and make incorrect statements for those which are correct.
