  课前准备:

  (1)预习本课时教学内容

  (2)利用网络搜索关于the first day at school的相关学习资料

  教学课题:

  1、围绕本课时内容,让学生理解并运用there be 句型描绘身边的事物。

  2、通过对学校内外教学设施的描写,激发学生观察和讨论校园生活的兴趣,增加学生对校园生活的热爱之情。

  教学目标:

  (一)知识与能力

  1. 四会 : day, all, at school, a lot of, room, any.

  2. 三会: of ,term, back, each other, building, sure, reading

  3. 帮助学生掌握以下日日交际性用语: It is the first day of鈥 They are happy to see each other. I'm not sure.

  4. 让学生初步掌握和运用there be 句型 : Is there a 鈥灐? / Are there any 鈥灐#-s)鈥灒 Yes, there is/ are. No, there isn鈥檛./ aren鈥檛.

  (二)情感和态度

  1. 通过相互之间关于学校情况的交流加强学生对学校的热爱之情。

  2. 在观察和交流过程中,加强学生的观察能力,增进学生之间的情谊。

  教材分析:

  苏教版小学《牛津英语》五年级上册第一单元的话题是《The first day at school》。Part A. Read and say 是本单元的第一课时,是一节词句新授课,主要围绕the first day at school话题重点学习与新学期开学有关的词汇和交际用语:Is there a ...in the ...? Are there any ... in the ...? 通过本课的学习,学生要能准确的说出表达学校相关教室和设施的单词,并能在相应情景中运用新学的交际用语对存在的事物进行询问和表述。

  在学习本节课的核心句型Is there a...?/Are there any...?及其回答前,在四年级下学期,学生们已经学习了there be 句型的陈述句表达方法。本课的表示各学科教室和学校设施的单词也比较简单,对整篇对话的理解构成的障碍不大。A板块作为以对话形式出现的语篇教学,关键在于能够让学生在40分钟的课堂教学中,运用there be 句型的陈述句和疑问句和同学顺畅的进行交流,对校内外存在的事物进行讨论。要让学生有所收获,首先教师要改变教学理念,变教师的鈥溄题澪拟溠р潱醚谥鞫袢≈刑岣哂⒂镅澳芰Α

  教学方法:

  1、教学方法:情境导入法、直观教学法

  2、学习方法:自主法、合作法、探究法

  教学过程:

  Step 1. Greeting and Free talk

  T (to all): Hello, boys and girls. Today is the first day of the new term . Welcome back to school.

  (教师和学生进行学期初的问候和交谈,通过交流引入新单词first ,term)

  Step 2.Lead in

  T: And at our first English lesson, let鈥檚 sing a song 《In the classroom》。和学生齐唱英文歌曲,在演唱中带动复习there be句型,也起到了活跃课堂气氛的作用。

  (听、唱歌曲,复习there be 句型)

  T: There is a TV in the classroom. Now look at this picture. Who are they?

  S:They are Mike, Helen and Wang Bing.

  T: Yes. Look, there is a new building in their school. T

  here are some classrooms in the building.

  How many classrooms are there ? Guess.

  S: There are ...

  T: Perhaps there are ....I don鈥檛 know .Now let鈥檚 read a picture book <> and try to find the answer.

  (观看ppt图片,学习building,同时找出问题答案)

  Step 3. Presentation (come to the text)

  1. Get the students to read the picture and find the answer: There are twenty-four.(如果有难度,可回到第一段再看一次)。

  2. T: Look at these rooms. What rooms are they?(ppt呈现table tennis room,reading room and computer room,进行教授)

  S:...

  T: Is there a table tennis room in the building ?/

  Are there any reading /computer room in the building ?(黑板板书,教授核心句型)

  3. Read the picture book and answer the three questions.

  Is there a ...? Are there any reading rooms...?

  Are there any computer rooms...? (阅读关键段落)

  4. Answer the questions.

  Step 4. Consolidation and drill

  1.Read the whole text after the tape.(在跟读过程中,学习掌握一些琐碎的生词)

  2. Read the text in roles.

  3. Try to retell the text(可先带领学生一齐复述,然后学生自己准备,请一两个学生尝试复述)

  Step 5. Post-task

  Get the students to guess what the teacher鈥檚 dream school is like, using sentences 鈥淚 s there a.../Are there any... in your dream school ?鈥

  如果时间允许,课堂上

  Talk with each other, tell about their own dream school and then ask about other鈥檚 dream schools with 鈥渢here be鈥 sentences.(在exercise paper 上记下关键信息)

  Step 6. Summary

  Applaud every student鈥檚 work and enhance the emotion:

  Everyone鈥檚 dream school is beautiful. And in we take good care of our school in daily life, it will be as beautiful as in our dream. Then get along well with each other and work hard, you鈥檒l have a happy school life.

  结合开学,寄语学生:Wish you a happy new term.

  提升文本情感,倡议学生团结友爱,共同努力,美化校园,创造美好的校园生活。

  Step 7. Homework.

  1. Read Part A fluently and try to retell it.

  2. Write a passage describing your dream ...
