　　Target:

　　Your bedroom was messy this morning.

　　Is it tidy now? Yes, it is.

　　My books were on the floor this morning. They are on the desk now.

　　Sounds and words: mouse, cow, south, and mouth, house, loud. --- / /

　　Vocabulary: warm, wet, clean, tidy, cool, dry, dirty, messy.

　　Materials: Picture cards, realia of a clean handkerchief/ cloth, a postcard with message, address and a stamp.

　　Teaching procedure:

　　Step1: Warming up: sing a song.

　　Revision: It was tidy but it鈥檚 messy now.

　　They were dirty before but they鈥檙e clean now.

　　Step2: Show the class the realia of a postcard.

　　T: What鈥檚 this? (Ss: It鈥檚 a postcard.) Model response if necessary.

　　Have Ss look at the page. Then ask a volunteer to read out the message on the postcard in the book. Have another student write the question 鈥淲hat was the weather like yesterday?鈥� on the board.

　　T: read out the answer together. (Ss: Yesterday it was cool and dry.) Write the sentence underneath the question.

　　T: Now try to answer Question2鈥�5 on the page.

　　Give Ss time to fill in the blanks. Walk around the classroom to provide help if needed.
