　　鳄鱼与猴子 A monkey and a crocodile

　　They swam slowly. Suddenly the mother crocodile saw the monkey 鈥淥h, a monkey! How nice if I have it for my dinner.鈥�

　　Then she said to her son 鈥淢y son, do you love me?鈥� 鈥淵es, of course.鈥� The baby crocodile answered. 鈥淲ell, Can you see that monkey? I want to eat his heart. Can you go and get it for me?鈥� 鈥淎ll right.鈥�

　　The baby crocodile swam near the river bank. He shouted at the monkey. 鈥淗ey, monkey! Would you like some bananas? There are many banana trees over there on the other bank of the river.鈥� 鈥淏ananas? Hmm, I like them very much. But I can鈥檛 swim. How can I get there?鈥� The monkey said. 鈥淥h, I can carry you there.鈥� 鈥淩eally? Thank you very much!鈥� The monkey jumped onto the crocodile鈥檚 back.

　　They swam towards the other side of the river. In the middle of the river the crocodile dived into the water. When he came up again, the monkey was wet all over. 鈥淒on鈥檛 do that again or you鈥檒l kill me!鈥� The monkey shouted. 鈥� I know, but I must do that! Because my mother wants to eat your heart.鈥� 鈥淢y heart? Why didn鈥檛 you tell me earlier? I don鈥檛 have it with me, I left it in that tree.鈥� Then we鈥檒l have to go back for it! They swam back.
