  signs. In this period, they will continue to read

  and write some signs. They can use

  imperatives to express prohibitions. They can

  practise acting a story

  students to act in front

  of the class.

  3. Divide the students into

  groups. Distribute pieces

  of drawing paper to each

  group. Ask each group to

  make a big book of signs.

  4. Ask each group to

  choose a place students

  then discuss and draw

  the signs they see at the

  place they have chosen.

  Encourage the more able

  students to write a

  sentence to match with

  each sign. The completed

  drawings can be stapled

  into a big book.
