Step 1 Warm-up
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
S: Good morning, Miss Xie.
T: How are you?
S:
T: Can you sing?
S:
T: Let鈥檚 sing a song. , OK?

Step 2 Presentation & Practise
T: New Year is coming. What do you want to have as a New Year present?
Do you want some book?
S:
T: Do you want some pencils?
S:
T: Do you want to have a pen?
S:
T: Do you want to have a new bag?
S:
T: Do you want some fruit, apples/pears/bananas?
S:
(Take out a bag of presents.)
T: Guess, What do I get for you?
S:
T: (Show a part of the present.)
What is it?
S:
T: Look! It is a doll! Do you want a doll?
S: (Read the word one by one.)
T: Do you like doll, Peter?
S:
T: What do you want then?
(Take out a ball.)
Do you want a ball?
S:
T: Good! It鈥檚 for you. You can give it to the one you like.
S: (Pass the ball and say the word one by one.)
T: There is something left in the bag. What is it?
S:
T: It is a balloon. Do you want a balloon? Who want?
S: (Pass the balloon and read the word correctly.)
T: Look! This is a present I want. What is it?
S:
T: It is a bicycle.
S: (Read the word together.)
T: I have a bicycle. I can go to the park now. Who want to go with me?
S: (Ask them to stand in a line.)
T: Are you ready? Let鈥檚 go!
S: Yes!
T: We are in Jinpin Park, now. What can you see?
S:
T: What鈥檚 that?
S: That is a _____.
T: Go to the slide.
S: (Read together.)
T: Oh! What is this?
S:
T: Go to the swing.
Step 3 Consolidation
T: What do you like best?
S: (Practise in groups. I like ______.)
