外研社一起英语五上《Today is Halloween》教学设计
教学目标:
1. 知识与能力目标
能够听说读写以下单词:night,autumn,houses,people
能够听说认读以下单词:festival,scare
能够听说读写重点句型: It’s an autumn festival. It’s really fun.
They go to people’s houses. They scare the people.
能够找出课文中带They的句子,理解并指读。在图文或场景下能进行简单的英语交流和表演。能在情景中灵活运用本节课所学内容表达自己的思想。
2. 情感态度目标
了解有关万圣节的知识,在巩固语言知识的同时比较中西方文化,感受中西文化差异,体会文化的碰撞,进而体会跨文化背景下学习语言的乐趣,培养学生积极的学习热情。
教学重点:
重点单词night,autumn,houses,people、重点句子It’s an autumn festival. It’s really fun. They go to people’s houses. They scare the people.的听、说、读、写。
教学难点:
能够听懂课文,并了解有关万圣节的知识,创设相应的情境指导学生理解、实践、感悟语言功能。
教学过程:
Step 1:Warm up
图示 富有节日特色的mooncake, moon,进行free talk, 让学生猜What’s that? What’s the festival ?引出话题:It is Autumn Festival .Do you know about western festival---Halloween.朗读课题,学习新词Halloween.提醒注意ee的发音。
Step 2:Presentation
放一段关于Halloween 的录像,进一步了解节日的知识,提问
Is it really fun?
Is it a(an) spring/autumn festival?
Step3:New teaching
1、听读课文,整体感知第一段,Q:What’s the festival? 引出答语并结合图片巩固操练:It’s an autumn festival. It’s really fun.
2、听读课文,整体感知第二段, Q:Do children wear scary clothes/hats/masks? Do they go to people’s house? What do children do at Halloween? 进而操练句型:Children wear scary clothes. They go to people’s house. They scary the people. They say, “whoooooo!”(搞清楚they是代词,代替children)
3、听课文,出示问题What do people do at Halloween?/ 让学生到课文中把答案划出来,然后谈论。
4、Listen an repeat.
Step4: Consolidation
1、图示圣诞节图片,提问:A. What’s that?(What’s the festival? )
B. What do they do at Christmas?
2、图示节日图片春节, 小组合作对节日图片进行谈论并表演。
They go to people’s house. They say “Happy New Year!”
Step 5: Summary and Homework
总结本课所学重点句子 It’s an autumn festival. It’s really fun.
They go to people’s houses.
They scare the people.
Step 6 Homework:
Listen and repeat the dialog fluently copy the main sentences and words.
