(2) I will play the flash of Part A of this unit. Students look, listen and learn to say “Happy New Year. Thank you” by different ways, such as reading after the teacher, saying it in chorus and individuals, working in pairs and groups and etc until they can say it correctly.
(3) Dub the flash
I will give the students 1 minute to remember the sentences, then ask some of them to dub the flash.
2. Learn “a red packet, a card, a doll”
(1) Present a red packet,
I will ask the students to watch the flash again and pay attention to the thing in Helen’s hand. Students learn to say “a red packet”.
(2) Nursery rhyme: Packet, packet, a red packet.
One for Helen. One for Mike.
(3) Present a card and a toy doll.
Students learn to say the words.
(4) Nursery rhyme: Card, card, a nice card. One for daddy, one for mummy.
Doll, doll, a lovely doll. Doll, doll, I love you.
