  教材分析:

  本课节选自陕旅版小学四年级英语上册第八课,本课在四年级英语上册教材中具有承上启下的作用。

  学生分析:

  四年级学生大部分都比较喜欢上英语课,上课能积极主动发言,但英语掌握能力参差不齐,学生主动学习的积极性不够高。

  教学目标:

  1.通过本节课的学习学生能够理解、会说 who is the young woman on the right

  2.会说、会用:beautiful、old、young、left、right、middle

  3.能够把方位词应用到实际生活中 4理解由方位词引出的五个短语

  教学重点:

  1. 会说、会用:beautiful、old、young、left、right、middle

  2.理解由方位词引出的五个短语

  教学难点:

  1.学会表达他人所处的位置

  2. 理解、会说 who is the young woman on the right

  教学方法:

  讲授法、直观演示法、小组讨论、练习法

  教学用具:

  ppt . 课本

  教学过程:

  一、导入

  1、play a game‘‘touch your body”

  2、Teacher asks four questions:

  Glad to meet you.

  How many people are there in your family? Who are they

  What is your mother?

  Are you a pupil?

  二、新课

  1、Learn the title: First student guess, teacher should give some instructions, then read the title together

  2、New words & vocabularies:

  (一) Learn the new words

  1. beautiful : Students look at the picture ,then guess the meaning ,read after the teacher

  2. old/young : they have the opposite meaning ,then asks students look at the picture and guess the meaning

  3. left/right : teacher does actions ,students guess

  4. middle: teacher points three students and says “look she is in the middle ” then asks students guess the meaning

  (二) Read the new words:

  1.大小声、英汉结合

  2.小组读,个别读,

  3.去掉汉语意思后你能说出来吗?

  (三)Play a game

  1.Show your left/right hand

  2.Show your left/right ear

  3.Show your left/right eye

  4.Show your left/right foot

  (四)Learn the new vocabularies:

  Asks students to look at the picture

  1. Apple one is on the left , apple two is on the right ,and apple three is in the middle .

  2.Students guess the meaning of “on the left. on the right , in the middle turns left/right ”

  3.Goup work: talk about “Who is on your left , your right ,and who is in the middle ?“

  Teacher does actions students guess the meanings:

  Teacher turns left/right and asks „what am i doing?”

  The whole class work : stands up and do the actions turn left/right

  The whole class read the new vocabularies after teacher

  (五) Let‟s practice

  Look at the picture and fill in the blanks ,students can work in groups and talk about

  1.Hang Taiyang is __the left .

  2.Zhou Xinyue is __ the middle .

  3.Hu Xiangbin is__ the right. Check the answers together

  (六) Please guess:

  I have two eyes ,one is on the left ,one is on the right, what is in the middle?

  Work in groups talk about ,then tell the answer

  (七) Summary:

  三、Homework

  1.用英语给同学介绍自己所学的方位词

  2.完成小练习册上的1.2.3题
