  教材分析:

  本课是陕旅版小学英语第五册中的第8课关于季节和月份的内容的第一课时内容。

  本教材从学生学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,通过体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,发展学生语言综合运用能力;因此教学设可利用多媒体课件及各种教具,活跃课堂气氛,提高学生学习兴趣,提高教学效果;本设计努力营造多种适合学生学习的情境,使学生在愉快的心理体验中轻松掌握所学知识。

  教学目标:

  1、掌握词汇 学生能够听、说、读、写下列词汇: March. April. May. June. December.

  2、四会句型

  (1)How many seasons are there in a year ? There are four seasons in a year.

  (2)How many months are there in a year ? There are twelve months in a year.

  (3)口语词汇:能听懂会用短语each season. begin、 in 、 from…to…。

  教学重点:

  学习几个表示月份的词汇

  March . April 、 May . June 、December .

  教学难点:

  学习会下列基本句型

  1. How many seasons are there in a year ? There are four seasons in a year.

  2. How many months are there in a year? There are twelve months in a year.

  3. Each season has three months. Spring begins in February

  教学准备:

  1、日历一份;

  2、十二月份的单词卡

  3、多媒体课件

  教学过程:

  一、创设情境、导入新课

  1、师生互致问候。

  2、互动对话: T: Whose birthday is today ?

  When is your birthday ?

  3、导入新课

  Every month someone, s birthday.

  Do you know how many months are there in a year?

  Let, s learn Lesson 8 ,How many months are there in a year ?(板书课题)

  【设计意图:创设与本课教学内容相关的情境,让学生进入将要学习的语言环境中。用对话引导学生进入学习情境,有利于学生接受新知。为学生创设良好的学习氛围及情境,学生学习积极性高。】

  二、新授

  1、学习单词。

  (1)老师拿出七月份的日历和学生问答: What’s this in English? It is July. What’s the month before July? 老师出示日历,从小声到大声反复说:It is June. It is June. It is June. 出示词卡,拼读拼写单词,看谁记得快,之后师生问答: What’s in June? The Children’s Day is in June. It is on June 1st. Whose birthday is in June? 让生日在本月的学生大声说: My birthday is in June.之后,全体同学齐读三遍:June 老师再和这些生日当月的学生问答: Which season is it in?(Summer.)What about the weather in June?(Hot.) What’s the best sports in June?(Swimming.)

  (2)What’s the month before June?

  It’s May. (出示日历) 出示词卡,拼读拼写单词:May看谁记得快,之后师生问答: Whose birthday is in May? Which season is it in? Summer begins in May. What day is the May 1st? May 1st is the May Day. What can we do in May? We can go climbing , go boating.

  (3)The Spring Festival is in February. What’s the month after February? 引出单词March。 (出示日历) March is after February. 出示词卡,拼读拼写单词:March

  Spring begins in February. March is after February. March is in spring. The weather is warm. What can we do in March? We can go roller-skating or fly kites.

  (4)What’s the month after March? It’s April. (出示日历) 出示词卡,拼读拼写单词:April

  In April, the weather is fine. The trees are green.There are flowers in the park. We can go climbing or boating in April. Whose birthday is in April?

  (5)老师把日历从第一个月往后翻,师生一起把学过的这些月份一一读出来,读到最后一个月,学习单词December(出示日历) 。 让学生拼读出单词: December

  师生问答巩固单词: Is it cold in December? Yes it is.What’s in December? The Christmas Day is in December.

  2、已开火车方式读月份词卡,后全班齐读。

  (将其他月份都练习到。)

  【设计意图】用看火车的方法巩固单词,激发学习兴趣,使学生的学习变得轻松愉快。

  3、利用多媒体教学及课件讲解课文、重点词、短语基句型。

  (1)(课件出示)首先老师让学生回答下列问题

  How many seasons are there in a year?

  How many months are there in a year?

  How many months are there in a season?

  之后引出(课件出示):There are three months in season.

  Each season has three months .

  Spring begins in February .

  Summer is from May to July .

  Autumn is from August to October.

  And winter is from November to January.

  (2)文中重点词及短语讲解

  each season 每个季节 。begin开始,in用在月份前,表示在某个时间。from... to...从……到〃〃一在此表示起始至末了的时间范围。

  4、听录音,学习38页对话,增强语感。

  【设计意图】:创设一种开放, 和谐, 积极互动的语言活动氛围, 努力产生一种融入式的真实语言环境。 让学生体验用英语交流的快乐和自豪感。 从而自然地不知不觉地沉浸其中, 增强语感, 同时也渗透了本节课的重点内容。
