一、 教学目标与要求
1、 知识目标
单词: important , paper , invented , printing , printed
目标语句: Paper is important.
Chinese people invented …….
Chinese people didn’t invent …….
2、能力目标
能用过去时态描述发明创造
3、 情感态度目标
学生形成积极探索的意识和热爱祖国的情感。
4、 教学重点
谈论中国历史上的两大重要发明。
5、 教学难点
运用过去时态谈论中国人发明什么和没发明什么。
四、课前准备
cards , paper ,coin ,CD-ROM
五、 教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1.Greeting
T: Hello ,boys and girls!
Ss: Hello, Ms Liu!
2.复习动词过去式的规则变化
clean---cleaned play----played wash----washed finish---finished paint----painted
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1.T: Do you know ‘Four Ancient Inventions’
Ss :Yes.
T: What are they?
Ss: They are paper-making, printing, compass, gun-powder.
T: OK. This class let’s talk about them.
First please listen ,point and find”invented” 出示单词卡片:invent , 学习新单词 ,进而学习过去形式invented。并渗透invented 的 ed 发音与paint的 ed 发音相同。
生汇报:Chinese people invented important things.
Chinese people invented paper.
Chinese people invented printing.
2.出示单词卡片:important, paper. Printing.
在学习单词paper 后
T: Here is a video about how to make paper. Look!(观看录像)
在学习单词printing 后
T: Now, let’s play a game. Take out a piece of paper and your coin. Put the paper on the coin. Then draw on the paper with your pencil. What can you see? Just now you printed.
出示单词卡片: print ,学习新单词 ,进而学习过去形式printed 。并渗透printed 的 ed 发音与paint的 ed 发音相同。
T: 在英语里,有的动词后面加上 ing就把动词变成了与它意思相同或相近的名词。比如 dance---dancing swim---swimming

a. 出示美国及英国的重要发明,让学生替换练习。
b. T:Chinese people invented paper . Chinese people didn’t invented TV. Can you say like this? 引导学生用否定形式说一说。

1.听录音,读对话。
2.记住本单元的四个新单词。
