Point to the picture of the girl holding a guitar.

T: whose guitar is this?(point to the picture of gogo with the guitar.)[Ss: it鈥檚 gogo鈥檚.]
Using the book
T: now, read each question and answer.
Put Ss into pairs to ask and answer the questions.

Point to the lyrics and read them to Ss.
T: (point to a picture of Tony.)whose ball is it ?[Ss: it鈥檚 tony鈥檚.]
Repeat with the picture of jenny.
Using the book
T: let鈥檚 sign a song! Let鈥檚 listen to it first.
Play the tape.
T: now let鈥檚 sing!
Play the tape again and have Ss sing along.
T: now let鈥檚 add actions and sing it again.
Model the actions. Pretend to bounce a ball for the first verse, then pretend to cradle a doll in your arms for the second verse.

Getting ready
Put picture cards 71 jenny鈥檚 and 72 gogo鈥檚 on the board.
Above jenny鈥檚 card, write whose ruler is this? Write it鈥檚 .under the card.
Ask a student to come up to the board.
T: (point to jenny鈥檚.)whose ruler is this?[s1: it鈥檚 jenny鈥檚 /it鈥檚 jenny鈥檚 ruler.]
T: (give s1 a piece of chalk/marker.) fill in the blank.
Have s1 write jenny鈥檚 or jenny鈥檚 ruler in the blank.
Using the book
T: look at the pictures.
For numbers 2 and 4, read the answers. Ss ask the question, e.g. whose stuffen animal is it ?
Writer a part of the question on the board for Ss to copy, e.g. whose is it? Or skateboard is it?
T: write this in your book. Finish the sentence.
For number 3, write part of the answer on the board for Ss to copy, e.g. it鈥檚 .
T: write this in your book. Finish the sentence.
