  PROCEDURES:

  Practice 1

  Getting ready

  飦 Point and talk about the pictures in each number.

  飦 T: can I borrow your eraser? (point to the eraser under number 2.)[Ss: sure. Here you are./ Yes, you can.]

  飦伂 Continue with the other sentences.

  Using the book

  飦 T: let鈥檚 listen to the tape.

  飦 Play the tape for number 1, then pause.

  飦 T: was it 鈥渟ure. Here you are.鈥 Or 鈥渘o, sorry鈥?(point to the two sentences under number 1.)[Ss: Sure. Here you are.]

  飦 T: circle it (Circle the picture and sentence with your finger.)

  飦 Continue with the rest, pausing after each number and letting Ss repeat sentence.

  Extension activity TB p.36

  Practice 2

  Getting ready

  飦 T: what鈥檚 this?(point to the picture of the book in number 1.)[Ss: it鈥檚 a book.]

  飦 Continue with your book? On the board. Circle use.
