¡¡¡¡e.g. Hello.My ears are long. My tail is short.

¡¡¡¡I’m a rabbit . Are you my mother? No. My

¡¡¡¡ears are big . My tail is short. I’m a dog.

¡¡¡¡B: Guessing game.

¡¡¡¡Ask: What animal is it? It has two small eyes and two long ears. Its teeth are sharp and small. To elicit: It’s a dog.

¡¡¡¡3. Try to say: To describe the animals using the pattern that we have learned. e.g. A lion is big and strong. Its teeth are big and sharp.

¡¡¡¡Presentation

¡¡¡¡1. Play the dialogue on the cassette while students look at the wallpicture. Students learn the content through listening.

¡¡¡¡2. Students listen again and follow in their books.

¡¡¡¡3. Ask questions about the story,e.g. What’s the dog’s name? What can we call the rabbit? Who’s her new friend? Is he a cat? What does he like?

¡¡¡¡4. Play the cassette again. Students follow the tape and repeat.

¡¡¡¡5. Divide students into pairs to act out the story.

¡¡¡¡6. Invite pairs of students to act the dialogue to the class. Students vote for the best pairs.
