1. Review the numbers from one to ten Divide the board into eleven boxes. Draw ten apples in the first box. Say: One sweet, two sweets鈥 2. Review the drills 鈥 S1: Count the books. S2: Two books.鈥 Show some things: rulers rubbers books pencils etc. Teaching the word 鈥渆xercise-books/ an exercise book鈥 Hold up an exercise-book and show it to the students. Make sure students understand the different between books and exercise-books. 3. Teaching the new words 鈥渢welve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty鈥 1) Count the girls and boys 2) Show some pictures, then count them 3) Count from one to twenty 4) Guessing game: 4. Invite students to list shapes that they can see in it. 2) Ask and answer: How many stars (squares, triangles, rectangles, circles)? 3) Guess: How many stars? 2.
