　　Teaching objectives: by the end of this lesson, Ss should be able to ask about where people are going.

　　Key points:

　　1. words: movie theater, swimming pool, hospital, bank.

　　2. sentences: Where are you going? I鈥檓 going to the bank.

　　Difficult points:

　　the pronunciation of theater

　　Teaching aids: pictures, multi-materials, realia, cards, tickers, class survey,ect.

　　Teaching procedure:

　　Step 1: Warm up.

　　1. Greeting.

　　2. Sing a song.

　　Ss sing 鈥淗ead, shoulders, knees and toes鈥�.

　　Step 2: Presentation.

　　T: Boys and girls, look at me. Oh, I am ill. ( T does the action.) I have to see a doctor. But where is the doctor? ( Have Ss look at the sceen.)

　　Ss:鈥�

　　T: He鈥檚 in the hospital. I鈥檓 going to the hospital. Please read after me, hospital. ( Ss read after T)

　　Step 3: Practice.

　　1. Ss read words after the tape.

　　2. Ss in a pair read words.

　　3. Ask and answer.

　　T: Where are you going?

　　Ss: I鈥檓 going to the hospital.

　　4. T shows a multi-material of Gogo. Have Ss ask: Where are you going, Gogo? Gogo: I鈥檓 going to the movie theater.
