  Class opening and review.

  Class opening :

  Ask the class: 鈥淲hat day is it ?鈥漃rompt them if necessary with your English calendar.

  Review:

  Review ordinal numbers with : 鈥淲hat鈥檚 missing?鈥

  Review ordinals,months and days of the week with 鈥淲hat day is it ?鈥

  Sing a song

  Choose a song they like

  Key concepts

  1 When is _?_.

  T:Demonstrate 鈥淲hen is _?_.鈥

  With your calendar .Point to today鈥檚 date. Lead a dialogue such as :

  T(Point to today鈥檚 date.)

  What day is it ?

  Ss:鈥

  T:Today is 鈥 When is 鈥?

  Today .When is 鈥?Say it please .Class.

  Ss :When is 鈥?

  T:When is 鈥.? Today .When is 鈥?

  Ss: Today .

  T:When is breakfast /lunch /supper in the鈥

  Ss:鈥 morning /afternoon /evening.

  2 yesterday .today.tomorrow.

  Use your calendar for the current month (or months)to demonstrare the concepts .

  You can make it simple by talking only about the days of the week (if today is Wednesday yesterday was Tudsday and tomorrow is Thyrsday)

  Class closing :

  Sing a song .
