　　1. T: Look, this is a band. There are some instruments in your hands. Guitar, piano, drum 鈥�. They love pop music but they are not good musicians. They make terrible noise. And Dad can鈥檛 read. So they go to the backyard.

　　2. Learn the new words and the phrase: backyard, pop music

　　3. The Noisy Band: Listen to the tape.

　　4. Listen again and then answer some questions:

　　Is Tom making a terrible noise?

　　What are Tom and Alice doing?

　　Who is playing the piano?

　　Can Alice play the guitar?

　　5. Open your books and read the text oneself.
