教学过程:
Step 1. Warming-up
The teacher imitate Ss to say Nice to see you again.
Greet with the students. Glad to meet you. This is 鈥Α
Ask Ss to introduce their good friends to the teacher. This is my good friend.
Step 2. Presentation.
1. Learn the new words China, America and England.
This is my new friend. Show the picture of a panda. The panda is from China. Learn the new word China. Recognize the flag of China. The teacher asks some questions How many stars are there on the flag?
Use the same method to learn the new words America and England.
Where is Micky Mouse from?
He鈥檚 from America.
Do you know the story of 鈥溛潱 Where is he from? He鈥檚 from England.
2. Draw a picture of Jim.
This is my new friend. Ask Ss to introduce. Hi! I鈥檓 Jim. I鈥檓 from America.
3. Play the tape. Ss listen and repeat.
Step 3 Practice.
1. Practise the dialogue.
2. Learn the new letters.
3. Let鈥檚 play.
Step 4 Do some exercises.
Step 5. Homework.
1. Prepare the new lesson.
2. Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.
3. Act out the dialogue or make up a new one.
4. Finish off the workbook.
