  一.Teaching requirements:

  1.Can master and use the sentences of the unit,learn to use

  the telephone phrases skillfully.

  2.Conduct a situational dialogue and can master “three-ables”

  sentences :

  Are you free now?

  How about ...?

  Can you come and help ... with ...?

  See you this afternoon.

  Please help me.

  Step 1

  Free talk

  Step 2

  Practice:

  Step 3

  Perform in groups:

  Step 4

  Exercise “E”.Act and guess.

  Step 5

  Homework:

  1.The pupils group themselves, greet each other and ask each

  other questions.

  2.Greeting phrases.

  (一)Exercise C “Ask and answer.”

  1.Watch the picture and understand picture 1.

  2.Write the patterns on the blackboard ,practice in pairs.

  (二)Make a telephone dialogue.

  T: Hello.

  T: Yes. Hi,...

  T: Are you free now?

  T: How about ...?

  1.Act out the dialogue.

  2.Compile the content by pupils.

  Act out a telephone dialogue centering on doing housework

  or doing homework.

  3.Hold a match.

  1.Let a pupil to come to the front to give an act:

  T: What am I doing?Guess!

  2.Divide the class into groups.

  One representative from each group puts on an act, those who

  guessed right will get a score. See who gets the highest score.

  1.Make a telephone call to your classmate in English.

  2.Review the new words ,prepare to write the words when the

  teacher says them.

  Ss practice.

  Communicate.

  S: Hello. Is that ...?

  S: Hi, ...

  S: I’m ..

  Invite ss to perform.

  Ss: You‘re ...

  S: Yes, you’re right.

  Sorry, you‘re wrong.

  Review the tense.

  Telephone situation is a little different from what we talk in daily life.

  Review the numbers.
