一.教学目标:
1.学习have a picnic, go on an outing, see a play, see a Beijing opera, take part in a singing contest, take part in a sports meeting六个词组。
2.学习句型:What are you going to do…? I’m/We’re going to ….
3.学习日常用语Would you like to join me/us?学习邀请他人参加活动
4.学习新的时态:一般将来时,知道其表示将要发生的事,学习用将来时为自己的周末作计划。
二.教学重点、难点:
1.将来时的结构,询问(和回答)他人的未来活动。
2.join与 take part in 的区别。
三.教学过程:
Step 1. Free talk
What day is it today?
What’s the weather like today?
Do you like spring?
What do you usually do in spring/ at weekends?
Step 2. Learn the new words
1. T: How do you spend your weekends
S: I ….
(复习动词词组)
2. T: Do you know that how do Ben and his friends spend their weekends? Look and listen!
At the weekends, Ben and his friends often have a picnic and go on an outing. Yang Ling and her parents usually see a play and see a Beijing opera. Sometimes she takes part in a singing contest. Because she is good at singing. Wang Bing is good at PE. So he and his classmates sometimes take part in a sports meeting. That’s interesting!

S: 根据发音规律试读这些单词。然后看图学习词组。
3. 操练: How do they spend their weekends?
生看图巩固词组。

T: (承上图)I usually go on an outing with my family. But this weekend, I don’t want to go on an outing. I am going to do some housework on Saturday. I’m going to go shopping on Sunday morning. On Sunday afternoon, I’m going to watch a film.

2. Ask and answer one by one, then work in pairs:
