¡¡¡¡Encourage students to describe Superman. e.g. He’s strong. He’s brave/super.

¡¡¡¡Put the word and picture cards on the board in random order. Using mine, introduce: run, swim, jump, dive, and fly.

¡¡¡¡Invite individual students to come out and match the words and pictures.¡¡¡¡Invite students to say what Superman can do. e.g.

¡¡¡¡He can run. He can dive.

¡¡¡¡Using mime, introduce: cook

¡¡¡¡Introduce: Superman can fly. But he can’t cook.

¡¡¡¡Ask: Do you like Superman? to elicit: Alice likes Supergirl. She’s reading a story about Supergirl.

¡¡¡¡Play the cassette. The students listen and check their guesses.

¡¡¡¡Play the cassette again. The students listen and repeat.
