3. Show some cards: is——was have——had are——were want——wanted do——did go——went……..
4. Do some actions,then ask and answer:Did he/she…..? Yes ,he/she did . No ,he/she didn’t .
Presentation:
Act running, then ask:What did I do ?Students answer run . Today we learn its past tense together . Show card ran . Read and spell one by one .
Show picture and ask:Who is he ?Yes ,Tom . Yesterday we learned how to ask and answer with Tom: Did you/he/she….?Yes ,I/he/she did . No , I/he/she didn’t. Today we will go on to learn the past tense.
Introduce:Since Tom saw the monster on the TV yesterday, he was afraid . Today he tell the monster with Sam . Let’s listen what he said . Please look at CAI , listen carefully first. Then underline the verb’s past tense , read out . Broadcast the recorder again ,listen and follow it ,then think over the questions of Part 2 . Let the students answer them . Compare with your parter . Then correct them on the slide .
