  Ss: Yes.

  T: Please show me. Read after me: pen, P-E-N, pen.

  Show the other things and do the same.

  Lead the students read the words and ask them read individually or in groups.

  (2). Ask like this:

  T: Oh, where is my book? I don’t have one book. May I have one book, please?

  Ss: Yes.

  T: Thanks. Now I have one book. How many books do you have? (Write and read.)

  Ss: (read and answer.)

  Lead the dialogue twice.

  Step3. Use the students book and audiotape.

  Ask the students listen to the tape and read after the tape several times.

  8.课堂练习

  Step4. Practice.

  (1) Show the objects pencils, pens, markers, pencil cases, chairs and ask the students to make dialogues as before in pairs.

  (2) Ask some pairs to go to the blackboard to act their dialogues.

  Step5. Play a game.

  Show some posters (e.g. five pencils, two makers an so on).

  T:Look carefully, Guess, what is this?(Only show a part of a pencil and ask the students to guess)

  Ss: ……

  T: Right. It is a pencil. Ask me. (Point to the words “How many “ on the blackboard.)

  Ss: How many pencils do you have?

  T: I have five.

  Send the posters to the first student of every group and ask the next student the questions before.

  Which group is the first, which is the winner.

  Step6. Class closing

  Say Goodbye to everyone
