  T: This is a zebra. Can it fly?. Who can read it ? Have two students read it ,

  T: let us check it.

  (Play the sound. Students read after the tape for three times . Then ask the students to spell them)

  T: Who can read it? z says /z/

  T: Can you say something about zebra (show the picture)

  T: Who can act the zebra? (Students act)

  ④Talk about the picture of “zoo”, listen and repeat after the tape.

  T: Can you see the zebra? Where can you see? Yes, let us check it out

  T: Who can read this? Two students read it.

  (Play the sound. Then students read after the tape for three times

  Then ask the students to spell them)

  T: Who can read it? z says /z/

  T: What can you see at the zoo?

  Ss: We can see a zebra…

  6. Drill the words and the sounds.

  A: Listen to the tape and repeat;

  B: Play the game. (看谁读得又快又正确)

  (评:自然过渡和学习了新授内容,首先从听力辨音游戏让学生分清 /j/ 和 /z/ 的发音,接着看图片拼读单词,提高了他们的认别字母和语音的能力;然后联系生活实际学习单词的意义,在学习新词时加上一些肢体语言最后采用听录音跟读及玩游戏,学生学习兴趣很强,实现了Friends with English的目的。)

  Step 3 Try to say more words which have the sounds of /j/ and / z/ according to the picture.
