  一、教学目标

  1、能听说、认读某些地方的英文名称

  2、能听懂、会说日常交际用语:鈥淲here are you going ?鈥澕捌浯鹩铩 am鈥

  二、教学重点,难点

  主题: UNIT 5 Where are you going?

  词汇:movie theater swimming pool hospital bank shopping mall restaurant park beach 句型: 1. Where are you going?   I鈥檓 going to鈥

  Where is he/she going?   He/ she is going to鈥

  Where are they going?   They are going to鈥灐

  Is he /she going to...?   Yes/no鈥灐

  Are you/they going to ..?. Yes/no鈥灐

  四、教学过程

  1、热身

  T: Let鈥檚 sing a song 《Head, shoulders, knees and toes!》 OK?

  Ss: Yes. (Sing the song.)

  Ss: Head, shoulders,

  knees and toes

  Knees and toes

  Head, shoulders, knees and toes

  Knees and toes

  Oh, eyes and ears and mouth and nose

  Head, shoulders, knees and toes Knees and toes

  [评:教师通过TPR歌曲热身,课堂气愤活泼;通过日常生活用语的问答,自然地创造了英语语言氛围,使学生很快地进入到英语语言学习的情境中来。]

  2、Lead in.

  师: Say hello to the children

  All right, what are we going to learn today? 好了,今天我们来学习什么呢? Today we are going to learn Unit 5. Where are you going? 你要去哪里? 同学们你们将书准备好了吗? OK. Let鈥檚 begin our lesson. Now children, do you like to travel in the holidays? OK. 我已经听到很多的同学在告诉老师:Yes, I do.Gogo likes travel very much. Now please watch a cartoon and try to answer this question: where is Gogo going?

  [放卡通片,引出Where are you going?这个句型。使学生初步感知本课的主句型。 ]

  3、新课讲解:

  a. 师: Gogo 的理想很大呀!同学们如果你在假期里,你会去哪里呢?Are yougoing to the zoo? / Are you going around the world?你会像gogo那样环游世界吗? Where are you going? 这里有一些好的地方介绍给你。你能用英文说出下列地点的名称吗?

  (出示本课的生词: :movie theater swimming pool hospital bank shopping mall restaurant park beach并用Where are you going? I鈥檓 going to鈥灲胁倭贰#

  b. 师: You did very well. Now let鈥檚 watch and listen to the text. And read after the tape recorder.

  (1)。read after T.

  (2)。放课文的动画,思考问题: Where is Gogo going? Is Peter going to the hospital?

  (3)。将课文再完整的呈现一遍

  [评:新知传授环节,教师给学生一个整体的感知的教学思路,让学生了解学习的全过程及学习的知识,使其能灵活地把握学习的主动权,从而充分体现了素质教育的宗旨。]

  4.fun time:

  师: All right, now let鈥檚 relax. Enjoy an English song. 让我们放松一下,欣赏一首英文歌曲,在歌曲中我们可以看到大家非常熟悉的卡通人物,他们都特别高兴,又唱又跳。因为他们都在海边度假。 放歌曲。

  [评: 利用歌声来巩固句型,让学生轻松地、愉快地操练,以旧带新,以新 温旧,一举两得。]

  五、练习

  1、Practice1

  a. 教师手指每一幅图画提问,要求学生用目标语言的句型回答。

  b. T: (指着图A)Is he going to the hospital ?Ss: No, he鈥檚 not. He鈥檚 going to the restaurant.

  c. T(指着图B) Are they going to the swimming pool? Ss: Yes, they are .

  d. 继续操练其余几幅图片。

  2、Practice2

  a. 让学生看本页的句子

  b. T(S1鈥檚 name), can you read the sentence?S1: Where鈥檚 she going ?

  c. 请另外三个同学读出其余的三个问题。

  d. 让所有同学大声练习朗读几分钟。

  [评:通过练习,提高听力的能力和笔试能力,使学生能灵活使用英语询问别人去那里?]

  六、小结

  师: 同学们我们今天学习的话题是有关询问某人要去哪里及其回答的日常

  交际用语。Now let鈥檚 practice.

  操练句型: Where are you going?   I鈥檓 going to鈥

  Where is he/she going?   He/ she is going to鈥

  Where are they going?   They are going to鈥灐

  [评:结束语不但巧妙的复习了所授新知识,同时也体现了师生平等民主的地位,和谐的师生关系。]

  七、留作业

  HOMEWORK 你看到有三项供你选择完成的作业

  1.听课文及单词的录音。

  2.熟读今天学习的课文和单词并抄写。

  3.调查朋友的假期安排,建议用Where are you going? 提问你的朋友。
