　　能力目标：初步掌握一般现在进行时与过去进行时的转换。

　　情感目标：用过去进行时态表达简单的个人意愿。

　　教学重难点：

　　掌握过去进行时态时间含义。

　　教学过程：

　　The First Period

　　Step One Review.

　　1. Place Picture Cards 9鈥�16（ from SB 4 Unit 2） on the board. For example: exercising, working, shouting, thinking etc. Ask Ss What are they doing? [Ss: He鈥榮 exercising. She鈥榮 shouting.]

　　2. Take picture cards off the board, ask one student to come up and pick one of the cards. Tell him/ her to act out what is on the card. T: What鈥榮 he/ she doing? [Ss: （S1鈥榮 name） is thinking.]

　　Step Two. Presentation

　　Have Ss look at the pictures on the page. T? Point to the first and second picture.） Who鈥榮 this ? [ Ss: It鈥榮 Gogo, Jenny, Ben and Lisa.] T: （ Point to the second picture.） What are they doing? [Ss: They are talking.] T: Look at the third picture . Ben is digging. Let鈥榮 dig. Model digging. T: I鈥榤 digging. Repeat. [Ss: I鈥榤 digging.] T: OK,everyone. Sit down. Step
