  教学过程:

  一、 Review

  Play 鈥淏efore鈥 and 鈥淎fter鈥 to review 鈥渂efore鈥 and 鈥渁fter鈥潯

  二、 Key Concepts

  early, late, begin

  party, surprise

  1、 Demonstrate 鈥渆arly鈥潱 鈥渓ate鈥 and 鈥渂egin鈥 together. Draw a big clock on the blackboard that shows the time. Facing the clock, write 鈥渂efore鈥 on the left and 鈥渁fter鈥 on the right. Draw a clock under 鈥渂efore鈥 that shows a few minutes before class time and a clock under 鈥渁fter鈥 that shows a few minutes after.

  2、 T: We are learning English now. This is English class. When does English class begin?

  S: At _______.

  T: Right! Look! Here鈥檚 ________.

  3、 Demonstrate 鈥減arty鈥 with the large vocabulary card.

  4、 Role-play to demonstrate 鈥渟urprise鈥潯 Ask a volunteer to leave the classroom. Hide a surprise in the volunteer鈥檚 desk. Then ask the volunteer to return to the room.

  T: I put something in your desk. Dose ____ know what鈥檚 in his/her desk, class?

  S: No.

  T: _____ doesn鈥檛 know what I put in her desk. It鈥檚 a surprise!

  S: Surprise.

  T: Yes! There鈥檚 a surprise in your desk. Can you find it?

  S: Yes!

  T: What is it?

  S: A flag.

  三、 Practise

  Divide the class into small groups. Ask each group to make up a dialogue about organizing a surprise party for a friend.
