  教学目标:

  (一)认知目标

  1.掌握(正确地说、读、写、用)单词:make , stove, refrigerator, cook, sink.

  2.能够理解并且掌握句型:What would you like for breakfast? I would like a/an/some____, please.

  (二)能力目标

  1. 能进一步掌握更多有关厨房的名词,扩充词汇量。

  2. 能运用本课所学的内容及以前学过的相关句子结合实际生活情况表达自己感情和意愿。

  (三)情感目标

  激发学生学习英语的兴趣;教育学生不要挑食,养成良好的饮食习惯,并且要做一个懂礼貌的好孩子。

  重点难点:

  学会读写单词:make , stove, refrigerator, cook, sink.并应用。

  教学用具:

  课件,单词卡片

  教学过程:

  Step 1 Class Opening and Review

  1. Greetings.

  Say “hello” to everyone.

  Play “What time is it ? “ to review the way to say some times .

  show pictures to review the words of food.

  T:What would you like for breakfast?

  S:I would like a, an /some ____.

  Step 2 Presentation

  T:Li Ming came to   Canada   to learn English. He came to Jenny’s house. Now it’s morning. They will have breakfast.

  1. Show some questions:

  What time is it?

  What would Jenny like for breakfast?

  What would Li Ming like for breakfast?

  Watch the movie. Then open the book and answer the questions.

  2.T:They’re hungry. Let’s go to the kitchen.

  Show the rooms(bedroom, bathroom, living room,kitchen)。 T: Is this a kitchen?

  T: We find the kitchen. Let’s look what’s in the kitchen? Show the pictures and teach the words.

  Teach the new words “ refrigerator , stove and sink ”

  Show a picture of kitchen:

  T: Where is it ? Is it a bedroom?

  S In the kitchen.

  T:What can you see in the kitchen?

  S:…

  T:What’s this?

  S:…

  T:It’s a refrigerator. (Hold up your vocabulary card for refrigerator .)

  T:Is a refrigerator cold ?

  S :Yes .

  T : Is this cold ? (Hold up the card for stove )

  S :No.

  T :Great!A stove is hot . Follow me.

  T: Does a stove have some water ?

  S :No.

  T : Does a sink have water ?

  S : Yes.

  T : Very good . A sink has some water.

  Stove: Is it hot? What is Mrs. Smith doing? Teach cook.

  Refrigerator: Li Ming wants juice. Where is the juice? Is the refrigerator hot or cold?

  Dishes: The dishes are on the table. Teach dish.

  Sink: What can we do in the sink?

  Chant:

  Stove,stove, we cook on the stove.

  Refrigerator, refrigerator, It’s cold inside the refrigerator.

  Dishes,dishes,the dishes are on the table.

  Sink,sink, we wash the dishes in the sink.

  Play the movie. Follow the tape.

  Ready the text.

  3.Play the movie.

  Breakfast is ready.

  What’s the meaning of “yours” and “mine”?

  4.Practice

  Listen to the tape and fill in the blank.

  Mum is _________ eggs on the _________.

  The juice is in the _____________.

  Let’s put the _________ on the _________.

  We wash ________ in the __________.

  5. Say something about making a meal in a kitchen.

  Step 4 Homework

  Write a short passage about making a meal in a kitchen .
