教学过程:
Step 1.Organizing the teaching
1.Greetings
2.Sing an English song.
Step 2. Revision:
Review something about the Christmas holiday.Design the day as “Christmas”。 Say “Merry Christmas” and ask the class to respond with “Merry Christmas”。
Step 3.Key concepts:bring give open toy
1.Introduce:
a. Role play to demonstrate the new vocabulary. Bring a wrapped “gift” to class with a little toy inside. Use gestures and actions to make the meaning clear as the teacher say phrases such as: This gift is for____. I am bringing ____the gift.
b. Ask this student to put the toy in his or her pencil-case.The pencil-case now becomes the “gift”。
Please bring ____the gift.
Please give ____the gift.
2.Student book:
Play the audiotape as the Ss follow in their books.
3.Practice:Divide the class into the same small groups.Ask each group to make up a dialogue about opening gifts on Christmas morning.
Step 4 Students’ activity:
1.Sing an English song.
2.Daily dialogue.
3.Let’s chant: “Leave and Arrive”。
4.Imitate the dialogue of the lesson.
