　　教学重难点：

　　1. 能听说读写单词pig, chicken , duck, horse, mask

　　2．能正确理解并运用对话进行交流

　　教学准备：玩具小动物，自制面具，录音机，多媒体课件，抄写本

　　教学过程：

　　Step 1. Warming up

　　Free Talk.

　　T: What day is it? What date is it? Halloween is coming. (Read the title ‘Halloween’ ) What can you do?

　　S1: I/we can…

　　T: We can make some masks for Halloween.

　　Here I make some masks for Halloween

　　Step 2. Presentation. Learn the new words.

　　1.Learn the words: mask, horse, chicken

　　（1）T: Look. This is a mask. (Show some masks)

　　Blackboard： Write ‘a mask’ on the blackboard, read and spell ‘mask’

　　T: This is a mask. And these are masks.

　　Blackboard： masks Read ‘a mask’ and ‘masks’ several times.

　　（2）T: What mask is it? (Show a horse mask)

　　S: It’s a horse mask.

　　T: Yes, this is a horse mask. Now look at the picture (PPT show a horse) This is a horse.
