第一课时
Conversation
Getting ready
Write I like____. On the board. Write painting underneath the blank.
T: (Pantomime painting.) I鈥檓 painting. I like painting. Who likes painting? Raise
your hand.
Do the same with swimming, dancing, reading and ice skating.
Using the book
T: Let鈥檚 listen to the tape.
Hold up the book and point to the pictures.
T: Let鈥檚 listen again and repeat.
Play the tape, pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat.
T: Repeat after me.
Read each sentence from the dialog, pausing after each sentence to have Ss
repeat. Put Ss into pairs.
Encourage Ss to add facial and voice expressions.
