The students look at the big screen, stand up and say the opposite quickly. And then make up sentences with the words that are bigger.
设计意图:复习本单元中反义词,使学生能在一开始上课就把精神集中到课堂上来;造句是使学生不仅要认知这些单词,还要会使用它们。
StepⅢ Oral practice
T: Good job! For prize, I will show you some pictures and then tell us what it is.
Show some pictures about the phrases the students learnt in this unit, such as: brush teeth, do my homework, comb hair etc.
Show the picture “playing ping-pong”.
T: Listen! Is playing ping-pong exercise?
Ss: Yes!
T: What else is exercise?
S1: Running is exercise.
S2: Playing basketball is exercise.
…
T: Right! What exercise do you like to do? I like to ride a bike.
S1: I like to play badminton.
S2: I like to jump.
…
T: How often do you exercise? I ride a bike about five times a week.
S1: I play ping-pong twice a week.
S2: I run four times a month.
…
Then show all the pictures and then read the phrases together.
T: Please look carefully. This is my day. (Show the little passage and read it to the students.) What about your day? Can you say something about your day? Give you one minute to prepare.
