　　We watch New Year programs on CCTV.

　　教具准备：录音机，磁带，多媒体课件、教学卡片、橡皮泥

　　Teaching steps:

　　Step 1: Warm up.

　　Sing a song: Happy New Year.

　　Step 2: Lead in.

　　T: Just now, we sang “Happy New Year”.Today we are going to learn about New Year, it’s Chinese New Year——Spring Festival. Lesson 17.

　　Step3: New lesson.

　　1.整体呈现课文

　　(1)教授Spring Festival (分男女生.小组开火车操练)

　　(2)T: How do you spend Spring Festival? 提问个别学生，然后教师顺势导入听课文录音一遍，让学生对新课有一个整体感知。

　　2.按时间顺序教授本课单词、词组和句型

　　(1)At 5:00, we make dumplings.

　　教师点击课件问学生：What’s the time ? 生回答：It’s 5:00. T: Yes, it’s 5:00 in the afternoon. We make dumplings.用实物操练dumpling, dumplings,全班跟教师学包饺子并朗读dumplings, dumplings, we make dumplings.
