　　Good afternoon, everyone. Today I鈥檓 going to talk about Part 1 of Unit 1, Module 7 New Standard English, Book 4. This lesson is talking about a festival. The Ss can describe Sb. is doing Sth. from learning. It mainly deals with the imperative sentences 鈥淒aming is doing a play with some children. Lingling is singing a song. etc.鈥�

　　II. Teaching aims

　　1. Aims on the knowledge

　　(1) To enable the Ss to understand and speak: 鈥淐hildren鈥檚 day,play,some,say,poem,class,drangon dance. Daming is doing a play with some children.Lingling is singing a song.鈥� Make sure that the Ss can use these sentences in real situations.

　　(2) To help Ss to talk about a festival. Consolidating present continuous tense.

　　(3) Let Ss finish the assessment in groups.

　　2. Aims on the abilities

　　(1) To develop Ss鈥� abilities of listening and speaking.

　　(2) To train the Ss鈥� ability of working in groups.

　　(3) To foster Ss鈥� abilities of communication and their innovation.

　　3. Aims on the emotion

　　(1) To foster Ss鈥� consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.
