  II. Presentation and drill. The new words and phrases: dictionary bookstore a dirty mark cover enough money Write the words and phrases onto the blackboard

  III.Fast reading and listening.

  1. Read Part A quickly

  2. Listen to Part A and read it IV.

  Intensive reading :

  1. Finish Part C T: Have you got enough money? S: Yes, I have./ No, I haven't.

  2. Listen to the part A and C and read it.

  3. Retell the text.

  4. Answer these questions.

  1).What did Anne see in the bookstore?

  2).Did she have enough money to buy it?

  3).Was the dictionary useful enough?

  4).Was the dictionary small enough?

  5).Did Anne buy the dictionary in the end?

  VI. Consolidation

  1. Show the Key words of this part, ask Ss to retell the text.

  2. T: Do you like the story? Can you perform the story?

  VII. Homework

  Listen to Part A and retell the stories. StepV Teaching design
