外研社六年级上《Happy Thanksgiving》教学设计

  教材分析:

  本单元的主题是Happy Thanksgiving!主要内容是教会学生谈论或者介绍节日。学习的词汇主要有: festival special meal sound Thanksgiving Flag Day. 教材通过Daming 和Simon 的交谈,让学生了解外国的两个节日 Flag Day和 Thanksgiving Day.

  学情分析:

  人称代词从三年级开始我们就已经接触了,因此只要多加练习,这部分的难度不大。但是形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词部分学生还是难以辨别它们的使用。

  教学目标:

  (一)知识目标

  1. 通过听看读等多种形式能听说读写以下单词 festival special meal sound Thanksgiving Flag Day

  2.重点句子:Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.

  We always have a special meal.

  We say Thank you for our food, family and friends.

  (二)能力目标

  1.学会Talking about festivals..

  2.比较熟练的运用人称代词

  (三)情感目标

  增强口语表达能力。了界外国的节日。

  教学重点:

  新授单词 festival, meal, sound, special

  教学难点:

  能够熟练的运用人称代词;同时会用英语表述外国的几个大型节日。

  教学过程:

  一、Warmer

  T: First, Let’s sing a song. We wish you a happy Christmas.

  T: Do you like this song? And what do you do on Christmas?

  Ss: We Sing Christmas songs and we give presents to my friends.

  二、Activity

  T: (Show the books and point to the 4 pictures.) What do you on Christmas? Practise in pairs.

  T: Now, who can try? Ask and answer with your partners.

  三、The Festivals (学习新单词并造句)

  T: Can you tell me more about the other festivals?

  Ss: Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Children’s Day...

  T: Do you know Thanksgiving Day?

  板书 : Thanksgiving .

  (给学生说说感恩节的由来)

  T: What’s your favourite festival? My favourite festival is Thanksgiving.

  T: Show a picture of an American football on it. Then teach the sentences We watch a football game.

  T: Let’s have a special meal and say Thank you for our friends, family and parents.

  四、Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

  1 What are the two American festivals in the story?

  2 What do people do on Flag Day?

  3 What do people do on Thanksgiving Day?

  Answers

  1 They are Flag Day and Thanksgiving Day.

  2 They carry flags and sing songs.

  3 They always have a special meal on Thanksgiving .Before the dinner, they say Thank you for the foods, family and friends. They watch a big football game.

  五、Read the lesson follow the tape (重点模仿语音语调,老师纠正发音)

  活动一:表演课文对话

  活动二:出示几张西方的图片让学生猜是什么节日,同时复习新单词并谈论节日。
