1.教师手拿一个钟表问:What time is it?

T:What time is it?

教师将分针动一下Now it is nine sixteen.教师再演示一遍从九点十五到九点十六的过程后
T:This is one minute.领读minute数遍后,继续拨动分针介绍five minutes ten minutes twenty minutes
thirty minutes forty minutes fifty minutes sixty minutes 再拨一圈
T: Sixty minutes make an hour.引出hour。
2.教师用课件出示拓展习题

S2:I always eat breakfast. I always eat vegetables.
S3:I always play ping-pong.I always take a shower twice a day.

Step4.Listen
Ask a question then play the tape of Part2 for the first time.
Who are talking?
Check the answer.Play the tape again. Then ask some questions.
1. How many minutes does Danny exercise?
2. How often does Danny walk?
3. Does Danny get enough(足够的) exercise?
4. Is Danny right?
Let them discuss the questions in pairs.Then let them answer the questions.
Step5.Let鈥檚 chant!
T: Are you tired?
Ss:Yes.
T:Okay.Let鈥檚 do some exercise.
Play the tape and let them chant after the tape.
Play the tape again and ask some volunteers to come to the front and do after the tape.
Step6.Homework
