  Step1.Greetings

  T:Good morning,boys and girls!

  Ss:Good morning,Miss Wu!

  T:What"s your favourite sport?

  Ss:My favourite sport is____.

  Step2.New Concepts

  1.教师手拿一个钟表问:What time is it?

  Ss:It"s nine o"clock.

  T:What time is it?

  Ss:It"s nine fifteen.

  教师将分针动一下Now it is nine sixteen.教师再演示一遍从九点十五到九点十六的过程后

  T:This is one minute.领读minute数遍后,继续拨动分针介绍five minutes ten minutes twenty minutes

  thirty minutes forty minutes fifty minutes sixty minutes 再拨一圈

  T: Sixty minutes make an hour.引出hour。

  2.教师用课件出示拓展习题

  DO you know?

  _____ hours make a day.

  _____ days make a week.

  About_____ weeks make a month.

  About_____ days make a month.

  _____ months make a year.

  About_____ weeks make a year.

  3.T:Do you want to be strong and healthy?

  Ss:Yes.

  T:Everyone wants to be strong and healthy.A healthy body has healthy bones,muscles and skin.

  For strong muscles,we need exercise.What"s exercise?

  出示课件(一个人正在跳)Jumping is exercise.

  Walking to school is exercise.

  What else is exercise?

  Ss:______ing is exercise. 教师可以出示一组运动的图片给学生一些提醒。

  4.T:Do you know how much exercise we need?

  Ss:No.

  T:让我们来听一听专家的建议。放录音或课件:You need about twenty minutes of exercise three times

  a week.板演20x3=60 You need about sixty minutes a week.

  Step3.Make a chart

  1.教师拿出提前画好的表格:

  How many minutes do you

  Exercise Name

  Ride a bike?

  Walk?

  Run?

  Play ping-pong?

  Total(总计)

让我们来统计一下How many minutes do you exercise?可找一两个学生与老师做对话

  示范怎样问以及怎样填写表格。

  Give them ten minutes to make the chart.

  let some students to show their chart and ask and answer in pairs.

  2.T:Who gets about sixty minutes of exercise a week?

  让举手的同学到前面来。

  Look!They are strong and healthy.What do you do to be healthy?

  S1:I always brush my teeth。

  S2:I always eat breakfast. I always eat vegetables.

  S3:I always play ping-pong.I always take a shower twice a day.

  T:Good work.If you want to be strong and healthy,you must learn from them.

  Step4.Listen

  Ask a question then play the tape of Part2 for the first time.

  Who are talking?

  Check the answer.Play the tape again. Then ask some questions.

  1. How many minutes does Danny exercise?

  2. How often does Danny walk?

  3. Does Danny get enough(足够的) exercise?

  4. Is Danny right?

  Let them discuss the questions in pairs.Then let them answer the questions.

  Step5.Let鈥檚 chant!

  T: Are you tired?

  Ss:Yes.

  T:Okay.Let鈥檚 do some exercise.

  Play the tape and let them chant after the tape.

  Play the tape again and ask some volunteers to come to the front and do after the tape.

  Step6.Homework
