　　Put a bandage on a puppet's nose ot head. Lead a dialogue like this:

　　T: (look suprised.) What happened?

　　P: Yesterday, I walked to school.

　　T: What happened? Say it,please, class.

　　C: What happened?

　　P: I fell.

　　C: What happened?

　　P: I broke my nose.

　　C: What happened?

　　P: It hurt.

　　T: Poor Danny. What happened?

　　P: My friend helped me.

　　T: What happened?

　　P: She put a dandage on my nose.

　　Role play with a volunteer. Encourage the volunteer to say What happened? after each sentence. Here are some sentences:
