  一、教学目标:

  1. 能识别并能书写单词:was, born.

  2. 能听懂会说句子:What was his name?

  When was he born?

  Where was he born?

  What happened to him?

  What did he learn to do?

  Why is he famous?

  二、教学重难点:学会简要讲述某人一生的经历。

  三、教具准备:录音机、录音带、有关词卡。

  四、教学过程:

  Ⅰ. Warming up.

  1. Greetings.

  2. Duty report: 请值日生做报告。

  3. Review: 用疑问词“What, When, Where, Why”来提问与Helen Keller有关的事情,并引导学生回答。

  Ⅱ. New concepts.

  1. Induction: 从复习上一节课的内容,引出今天所要学习的知识,板书课题Unit 2 His name was Louis Braille.,并带学生读数遍。

  2.Questions: 边提问边板书问题“What was his name? When was he born? Where was he born? What happened to him? What did he learn to do? Why is he famous?”让学生思考。

  3. Listen to the tape: 播放录音,请学生听录音。

  4. Answer the questions:请自告奋勇的学生来回答问题。

  5. Listen to the tape and try to repeat: 再次播放录音,请学生尝试跟读,理解课文录音意思。

  6. Listen again: 让学生再次听录音,进一步体会如何讲述一个人的一生经历。

  7. Practice in pairs: 让学生小内练习A3。

  8. Present: 请自告奋勇的学生来展示他们所练习的过程。

  9. Listen and say, then chant.与学生一起学习本课歌谣。

  10. Play a game: Palm reading.教学生玩这个游戏,体会Helen Keller和Louis Braille学习的艰难,进行相关的思想教育。

  Ⅲ.Homework.

  1. Listen and read: 听读课文10分钟。

  2. New words: 默写M8的单词。

  Ⅳ. Writing on the blackboard
