  教学目标:

  一、知识与技能目标

  1、通过阅读材料学习清理垃圾、植树等背景知识,练习将来时,通过talk about the future练习表示是否同意他人,表达自己的想法。

  2、让学生能够完成Listen and match 中的练习,加大学生信息量的输入。

  3、让学生能够在交际的情景中运用所学习的语言,培养学生的语用能力。

  4、通过阅读材料训练学生的阅读能力,对整体意义的理解与具体信息的理解相结合,培养寻找具体信息的能力。

  二、过程与方法

  通过模仿、操练、应用、巩固练习等活动,引导学生有意识的将新旧知识结合,积极运用祈使句的语言进行表达和交流。同时在语境中有效进行词句结合教学。培养学生总结发现规律,按规律仿写句子。

  三、情感、策略、文化意识目标

  1、通过阅读材料的训练,培养学生仔细认真的习惯,形成有效的学习策略,为后面的学习打好基础。

  2、通过对阅读材料的学习,培养学生对英语学习的兴趣。培养学生的环保意识,调动学生相互配合。

  教学重点:

  重点是学生独立完成Read and find out 中的阅读材料的练习,和listen and match 和answer about you 及Talk about the future 三个活动练习,学会对重点句型的运用,同时在课堂上加强后进生的强化练习。

  教学难点:

  培养写的方法和能力,附和别人意见的表达方式对个别学生来说是个难点,因此需要通过有效的活动来完成本单元的练习。

  教学用具:

  录音机、课件,图片,

  教学过程:

  Step 1

  Warming-up Oral practice .

  T:What day is it today ?

  T: What鈥檚 the weather like today ?

  T: If an insect bite you, what should you do ?

  T: There are many animals in the zoo. Do you agree?

  T: Where will you go on summer vacation this year ?

  T: What will you take ?

  设计意图:

  通过日常口语操练,培养学生的口语表达能力。为后面的阅读和练习做铺垫。

  Step 2

  Preview Elicit all possible answers so students also practice a lot of.

  Step 3

  Presentation 复习学过的有关森林方面的单词。Forest (头脑风暴)

  Do you know why do we need the forest ? and the forest is very important . Now let鈥檚 look at the 鈥淲hy do we need the forest?鈥潯

  Have them read the paragraph silently and find out the questions .

  Q1: Why the forests are important to us ?

  Q2: What is a rain forest ?

  Give the enough time to decide the answers and work in pairs .

  Reading Task 2 : have the children read the second paragraph and ask them to answer

  Q3:What is the largest forest in the world?

  Q4: What will happen if people cut down more trees?

  Pair work: Read the statements in match the causes with the results.

  Explain plant, disappear, scientist, temperature, gas and reduce.

  Check answer by reading aloud the causes and having the students call out the results.

  Reading Task 3: Have the children read the whole passage and check the answers .

  They give a lot of oxygen.

  They can change the temperature of the whole world.

  They can help to reduce the gases.

  They are the home for many plants. People can take a field trip there.

  设计意图:

  通过读文章,找到相应的答案,从而培养做题的方法与技巧。订正题目的答案时,请同桌相互检查,鼓励同学之间互相学习。

  Step 4

  Practice Listen and match

  First ask Children look at the pictures and answer:

  Q1:What are they?

  Q2:What do they do? 学生看图说出并复习:doctor, computer,

  programmer, pilot, travel, singer, teacher.

  Then listen and write the numbers .

  Answer about you .

  The teacher ask What are you going to do in the future? Then Explain the questions, 确保学生理解问题的含义。

  Answer about you, T: You can do it with your partner.看本活动中列出的问题,鼓励学生给具自己的实际回答。

  Check the answers 让学生说一说所写的句子。

  Talk about yourself, T: What do you think? 让学生相互交流,做口语练习。

  Talk about the future

  Explain that they are going to talk about the future. Read aloud the eight predictions for the future and have the students repeat them after you. Ask if there are any words the students don鈥檛 know. Now read aloud. Now play the tape and have students look at the picture.

  Look at the final exercise. We are going to talk about the future.

  e.g. There will be fewer trees. I hope not.

  More people will use the computers. I hope so.

  Talk with your partner .小组练习,给每个学生口语练习的机会。

  Have different pairs say examples for the whole class. 让学生说一说,有错误可以请同学来纠正。

  设计意图:

  讲解同意或不同别人的观点的说法后,让学生独立做练习,及时巩固运用。然后全班订正答案,把错误集中的地方讲解、强调、改错。

  Homework

  1. Copy the sentences about page 31

  2.Copy the word about forest
