  教学过程:

  Step 1 Warm-up/Revision

  1. Sing a song and say some chants

  2. Free talk

  让学生说说自己的生日是哪一天,以及节日的时间,以复习已学过的序数词

  Step 2 Presentation

  1. Elicit the ordinal number

1st-first
2nd-second
3rd-third
4th-fourth
5th-fifth
6th-sixth
7th-seventh
8th-eighth
9th-ninth
10th-tenth

  2. Read the words

  3. Game : What鈥檚 missing ?

  学生朗读单词卡片, 教师抽走一张卡片,让学生猜是哪一张

  4. Quick response

  5. Play a game :choose the card and do the action

  教师制作10张卡片, 卡片的正面写上1~10,背面写上随机的1~10分分值及英文动作单词,学生抽取卡片,按照卡片背面的提示做出相应的动作,并获得相应分值。

  6. Learn the new word : cheercheered

  7. Read the words

  8. Learn part A

  (1)导入A部分,学习单词sports day , race 和meter

  (2)听A部分的录音,理解课文大意

  (3)Check the answers

  (4)Read after the tape , then practice in groups .

  The students read the text in groups and help each other .

  Step 3 Consolidation

  连线练习

  (1)将节日与相应日期连线

Children鈥檚 Day the twenty-fifth of December
Christmas Day the fist of October
Teachers鈥橠ay the first of June
National Day the eighth of May
Women鈥檚 Day the tenth of September
  (2)将动词与相应的过去式连起来
