　　2 Use the drills: Who are they from? They are from Grandpa and Grandma and the single form .

　　3 Master the drills: Whose …it itare they? To use the words: minehishersyours…well. Know the differences between my and mineyour and yours etc.

　　Teaching aids: computer, some materials and cards.

　　Teaching steps:

　　Step1: Revision

　　1 Sing a song : If you are happy.

　　2 Ask and answer the drills we have learned: What is the date today? When is your birthday? What would you like as a birthday present? Introduce your birthday present for the children. Review the words. When is Christmas Day? It’s on the 25th of December. What would you like as a Christmas present?

　　Step2: New teaching

　　1 Do you know what presents Jim got on Christmas Day? Today we will learn: Unit 9 At Christmas.

　　2 Before we watch the VCD. I will give you a question: What presents were there under the Christmas tree?

　　3 Listen and watch once then answer the questions. Let the students pick out the presents from the Christmas tree.
