一、教学目标:
1. 听懂、会说本课句型: I’m going to … . He/ She is going to … .并能在实际情境中灵活运用。能够向他人描述自己的计划:I’m going to do long jump. I’m going to run a race. 会描述他人的计划:Amy is going to do high jump.
2. 能听、说、认、读 4个单词:do high jump、do long jump、run a race、Sports Day, 并能在日常生活中使用。
3. 培养学生的表达能力、观察力等综合能力,激发学生的积极思维,挖掘他们运用语言的创造能力。对所学内容能主动练习和实践;在活动中能积极运用所学英语进行交流。
二、教学重点:
会听、说、认、读 4个单词:do high jump、do long jump、run a race、Sports Day和掌握句型: I’m going to … . He/ She is going to … .
三、教学难点:
能正确运用句型表达自己和他人将要做的事情。
四、教具准备:
课件、磁带、录音机、图片、男女头饰、报名表
五、教学过程:
Step 1 Greeting
Step 2 Revision
1. Game: “Monkey say”
2. Ask the whole class: “ Do you like sports?”
[点评: 通过复习所学过的动作, 更好的引出本课的新知内容.]
Step 3 Presentation
1 、 T: You all like sports, so we’re going to be a Sports Day on Friday.
2 、 Teach and learn “ Sports Day”.
3 、 Teach and learn new phrases:
⑴ “do long jump”
Read the phrase together, then have a chain game to practice.
⑵Teach and learn “do high jump” (教学过程同上)
⑶ Teach and learn “run a race”
① Look at the picture.
② Teacher teach “race”,then have the class to say it and do the action.
③ Read it group by group.
4 、 Read the new phrases together.
5 、 Game: I say you do.
①Teacher say and students do.
②Call four students to act, the other students say.
[点评: 在教授新词组时,先设置有关运动日的相关情境, 让学生通过看,说和做的形式了解所学内容,再让学生当小老师来教授新知,充分发挥学生的主体作用;最后通过师生互动的游戏环节来帮助学生巩固复习,课堂氛围十分活跃.]
6、 Practice the new words and sentences
T: point and say. S: repeat.
T: point and say. S: act.
T: act. S: answer in his group one by one.
T: I can do long jump. (do the action)
I’m going to do long jump on Sports Day.
What are you going to do?
① Have some students to answer.
② Listen and make sentence. “ I’m going to …
③ Practise the sentence .
Practice the sentence with T : one by one \ in group.
④ Whisper game:
7、 出示报名表and ask some students what are they going to do .
(教师根据学生回答在报名表上做记录) After he/ she answered, ask the other students what is (人名) going to do, 引导学生回答并操练。
[点评: I’m going to … .的句型比较简单,所以在教授时先让学生听音连词成句,对句型有个大致的感受,教学起来学生更容易接受和理解. He/ She is going to … .的句型则是老师先利用报名表先询问个别学生的参赛情况,再引导全班同学使用句型来描述,便于学生更好地理解此句型的意思.]
Step 4 Consolidation
1、Listen to the tape, listen and repeat;
T: Sam,Amy and Daming are going to take part of Sports Day too.
Let’s listen what are they going to do?
2、Read the text ,let’s answer:
① When is Sports Day?
② Who is going to do long jump?
③ What is Amy going to do?
④ Is Daming going to run a race?
3 、 Listen and repeat.
4 、 Read the text together.
Step 5 Practice
Tell the students we’re going to be a Sports Day too. Let them take out the tables and speak their mind what are you going to do, then tell us.
